Will India lift Indus Water Treaty suspension before July?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Government of India publicly announces that it is reinstating engagement under the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) between May 12 and June 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Only official policy announcements from the Government of India ending the suspension and reinstating engagement under the Indus Waters Treaty will qualify. Informal remarks, statements contingent on future conditions, expressions of intent without a formal policy decision, partial resumptions, or any other communications that do not clearly constitute a definitive government policy announcement will not be considered. The resolution source for this market will be official public announcements from the Government of India however a consensus of credible reporting confirming that India has reinstated the treaty will qualify.
