Trump deploys National Guard in D.C. by August 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump deploys any active duty National Guard troops into Washington, D.C., by August 31, 2025 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only the actual deployment of active duty National Guard personnel into Washington, D.C., will qualify; an announcement of a future deployment alone will not count. Both the active deployment of the D.C. National Guard and the deployment of out-of-state National Guard units into Washington, D.C., by President Trump will qualify, regardless of whether the troops are engaged in public-facing operations within the market's time frame. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the U.S. government, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
