This market will resolve to "Yes" if Hakeem Jeffries receives the most votes in the first vote for a new Speaker of the House after Kevin McCarthy was ousted. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the US government, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. If no vote for a new US Speaker of the House takes place by December 31, 2023, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50.
