Trump announces Lisa Cook replacement by August 31?

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Donald Trump officially nominates, or announces the nomination of, a replacement for Lisa D. Cook to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors by August 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” To qualify, the named nominee must be explicitly identified as intended to replace Lisa D. Cook / fill her Board of Governors seat. A public statement from Trump or the White House confirming the nomination will be sufficient for a “Yes” resolution regardless of when the nomination is transmitted to the Senate or when/if it takes effect. General statements of intent without a named nominee will not qualify. The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the Trump administration or a consensus of credible reporting.
