Russia x Ukraine prisoner swap before July?

On May 16, 2025, Russia and Ukraine announced a planned prisoner exchange during talks in Istanbul, with a proposal to swap 1,000 POWs from each side. As of late May, the exchange has not yet taken place, but both sides have confirmed intent to move forward. This market will resolve to "Yes" if any confirmed prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine takes place between May 22, 2025, and June 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The number of prisoners involved does not matter. Any swap involving military or civilian detainees held by either government will qualify. The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
