Will the percentage of inactive ballots in the NYC Democratic Mayoral Primary be more than 4% and up to 8%?

This market will resolve based on the percentage of ballots that become inactive during the ranked-choice voting (RCV) process in the 2025 New York City Mayoral Democratic Primary election, according to the final certified vote totals. A ballot is considered inactive if it is no longer eligible to be transferred in a given RCV round. The inactive ballots percentage will be calculated as: (Total number of inactive ballots in the final round ÷ Total number of ballots cast in the first round) × 100 The market will resolve according to this percentage, rounded to the nearest tenth of a percentage point (e.g., 12.4%). The primary resolution source will be the official certified results published by the New York City Board of Elections
