Will Takeru Kobayashi eat 50 or more Hot Dogs?

Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi are scheduled for a Hot Dog Eating Contest titled "Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef" in Las Vegas Nevada, streaming live on Netflix, on September 2, 2024. This market will resolve to “Yes” if Takeru Kobayashi eats 50 or more Hot Dogs in the contest, otherwise this market will resolve to "No". The resolution will be based on the official count of hot dogs and buns consumed by Takeru Kobayashi as recorded by the contest judges during the 10-minute competition period. Penalties, which result in deductions from the final count, will be included. Only hotdogs consumed during the initial 10-minute contest period will be considered for this market - consumption during tiebreakers or additional rounds will not counted towards the resolution. If the contest is canceled or postponed beyond September 9th, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information from Netflix and contest organizers however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
