Will Sebastião Melo win the 2024 Porto Alegre mayoral election?

The 2024 Porto Alegre mayoral election is scheduled to take place on October 6. If no candidate receives a majority of votes, a runoff election will be held on October 27, 2024. This is a market asking who will be the ultimate victor. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Sebastião Melo wins the 2024 Porto Alegre mayoral election. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If a runoff election is triggered and this candidate is no longer in consideration for Mayor of Porto Alegre, this market will resolve immediately to "No". If the election is delayed beyond December 31, 2024 ET, or the election is otherwise not held by that date, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) (www.tse.jus.br) and/or the official process by which electoral disputes are arbitrated in Brazil.
