Will Powell wear a purple tie at FOMC?

Jerome Powell is currently scheduled to give a FOMC introductory statement on September 18 in an event hosted by ABC News. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Jerome Powell wears a tie that is predominantly purple during his FOMC introductory statement on September 18, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the tie to be considered predominantly purple, its primary color must be a shade of purple, though it may feature other colors as part of a pattern. The primary resolution source will be video of the FOMC statement, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
