Will Mahmoud Abbas attend the UN General Assembly?

The high-level General Debate of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80) is scheduled to begin September 23 (see: https://sdg.iisd.org/events/80th-session-of-the-un-general-assembly-unga-80/) This market will resolve to "Yes" if Mahmoud Abbas attends the high-level General Debate of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the event is canceled, postponed beyond or otherwise hasn't been completed by October 7, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". Attending the event is defined as being in physical attendance during any part of the high-level General Debate of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80). The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
