Will Jeannette Jara and Evelyn Matthei advance to the runoff?

The 2025 Chilean general election is scheduled for 16 November 2025. The President of Chile is elected via a two-round system; a candidate must secure over 50% of the vote to win outright in the first round. If no candidate achieves this, the top two contenders advance to a runoff. This market will resolve according to the listed pair of candidates who advance to the runoff of the 2025 Chilean presidential election. If a different combination of candidates than those listed below advances to the runoff, if any candidate wins outright in the first round, or if the results of the election aren’t known by December 31, 2025 ET, this market will resolve to “Other.” This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Chilean Government, specifically the Chilean Electoral Service (Servicio Electoral de Chile, Servel) (https://www.servel.cl/).
