This market will resolve to "Yes" if Andrew Cuomo publicly announces a campaign for the 2025 general election for public office under a party affiliation other than the Democratic Party (including as an independent or third-party candidate) by July 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. This includes running as an independent or as a candidate for another political party. An official announcement from Cuomo will qualify regardless of if he actually runs. The primary resolution source for this market will be Andrew Cuomo, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
