Will Biden nominate Sandra Thompson for FDIC Chair?

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Joe Biden nominates Sandra Thompson to become the next chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Otherwise this market will resolve to “No”. If Biden nominates another candidate this market will immediately resolve to “No”. If no candidate is nominated to become the next chairman of the FDIC by Dec 31, 2024 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from President Biden and the White House, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
