Trump cuts 80k+ VA workers before May?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if at least 80,000 employees of the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are officially reported to have left their jobs or otherwise been laid off, terminated, or removed from their jobs with the VA between January 20, and April 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Reductions due to voluntary resignations, retirements, or routine attrition will count so long as the net reduction in the VA's workforce is 80,000 or more employees. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the US government, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
