The first 2016 debate between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton is the most viewed presidential debate in history, recording 84,011,000 viewers (Persons 2+) according to Nielsen (see: https://www.nielsen.com/insights/2016/first-presidential-debate-of-2016-draws-84-million-viewers/). This market refers to the first presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump scheduled for September 10, on ABC. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the ABC debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, scheduled for September 10, 2024 has 84,011,001 or more viewers (Persons 2+) according to Nielsen. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If no presidential debate takes place on September 10, 2024 ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source will be information from Nielsen, specifically their Persons 2+ statistic. If Nielsen does not provide viewership information for the debate by September 17, 11:59 PM ET, another credible source may be chosen.
