Apple announces iPhone assembly in the U.S. before September?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Apple Inc. publicly announces that iPhone assembly will occur in the United States by August 31, 2025 11:59 PM ET . Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". An announcement from Apple will qualify, regardless of if/when U.S. assembly begins. The announcement must specifically mention iPhone assembly (not general Apple product assembly or expansion) and must indicate that the assembly will take place in the U.S., whether through a direct Apple facility or a third-party contractor. Vague statements about exploring or considering U.S. assembly will not count. The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
